Cooking Instructions

step 1

In a large bowl, combine the Mashed Potatoes (1 cup),Potato (1 cup), All-Purpose Flour (1 cup), Baking Powder (1/2 tsp), Salt (1/2 tsp) and Ground Black Pepper (1/4 tsp). Mix thoroughly until combined.

step 2

Gradually add the Milk (1/2 cup) to the potato mixture, stirring until you get a thick, slightly sticky batter. The consistency should hold its shape but still spread slightly when dropped into the pan.

step 3

Heat a large skillet or frying pan over medium heat. Add a tablespoon of Butter (2 Tbsp) or oil to coat the surface.

step 4

Scoop about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake into the skillet, pressing gently with a spatula to flatten it slightly. Cook for 3–4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy on the edges.

step 5

Transfer the cooked pancakes to a plate lined with paper towels to remove any excess oil. Keep them warm in a low oven if needed while cooking the remaining batter.

step 6

Serve hot with your favorite toppings, such as vegan Sour Cream (to taste), Fresh Chives (to taste) or Apple Sauce (to taste) for a traditional Irish twist. Enjoy!
