Classic Compound Butter
Classic Compound Butter is an easy way to elevate any meal. A simple four-ingredient recipe for a quick, flavorful, and creamy butter that's always great to have on hand.

Remove Unsalted Butter (1/2 cup) and let come to room temperature, about an hour minutes.

Remove Fresh Thyme (1 Tbsp) leaves from the stem.

Finely chop the fresh thyme.

Place the unsalted butter in a bowl, and season with Salt (to taste) and Freshly Ground Black Pepper (to taste).

Add fresh thyme, and mix thoroughly to combine.

Remove butter mixture from bowl. On top of a sheet of parchment paper, roughly shape into a log.

Roll the butter in the parchment, rounding and smoothing as you roll.

Twist the ends of the parchment together to seal the butter in.

Let compound butter chill in the fridge until ready to use, for about three hours. Serve and enjoy!
