Ingredients
Cooking Instructions
step 1
In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, cook Smoked Bacon (1 cup) until golden and crispy about 6 minutes. Drain cooked bacon, leaving the grease on the pan, and set aside.
step 2
In the same pan over medium heat, add Red Onion (1), Scallions (2 stalks), and Garlic (1 clove). Cook for about 3 minutes or until the onion is soft.
step 3
Add Bush's® Original Baked Beans (1 can), Barbecue Sauce (4 Tbsp), Dark Brown Sugar (2 Tbsp), Worcestershire Sauce (1 Tbsp), Apple Cider Vinegar (2 Tbsp), Smoked Paprika (1 tsp), Salt (to taste), and Ground Black Pepper (to taste). Stir to combine.
step 4
Reduce to low heat, mix in cooked bacon, bring to a boil and simmer for 8-10 minutes or until it thickens. Occasionally stir to prevent the burnt from the bottom.
step 5
Transfer to a serving plate. Garnish with more scallion and serve warm.
