Easy Korean Beef
Make this easy version of the traditional Korean Beef in 20 minutes using ground beef instead of thinly sliced steak. It has all the flavor and spice you are looking for but saves you plenty of time on a busy weeknight. We absolutely love this low-effort savory classic! Serve it over white rice, or the healthier cauliflower substitute, and enjoy!
Ingredients
Cooking Instructions
step 1
Heat up Sesame Oil (1 1/2 Tbsp) in frying pan.
step 2
Brown the Ground Beef (1 lb). You want to make sure it's fully cooked but not dried out. Turn off the heat and drain the fat if needed.
step 3
Add the Brown Sugar (2 Tbsp), Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (1/2 tsp), Soy Sauce (4 Tbsp), and Ground Ginger (1/4 tsp) to the pan and combine, letting the residual heat help the spices to coat the meat.
step 4
Serve over rice if desired, and garnish with Scallions (to taste). Enjoy!
