Gochujang Shrimp

A super easy sautéed sweet and spicy Gochujang Shrimp that makes for an excellent appetizer. Quick and simple marinade together with quick-to-cook shrimp that can be wrapped with lettuce and enjoyed in one bite. Healthy and high in protein, they're perfect for your family's summer dinner party.

Cooking Instructions

step 1

In a small mixing bowl, mix together Gochujang (2 Tbsp), Soy Sauce (1 Tbsp), 1 Tbsp of Lemon Juice (1), Sesame Oil (1 tsp), and Honey (1 tsp) until well combined.

In a frying pan, heat the Butter (2 Tbsp) over medium high heat. Then stir in the Garlic (3 cloves) and the white part of the Scallions (3 stalks). Cook for about 1 minute until softened and fragrant.

Add Shrimp (1 lb) and gochujang mixture. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the shrimps are opaque. Stir occasionally.

Turn off the heat, add the green part of the green onion, then stir to combine.

Top Butter Lettuce (8 pieces) with gochujang shrimp. Garnish with Scallions (to taste), Red Chili Pepper Slices (to taste), and White Sesame Seeds (to taste). Serve with Lemon Wedges (1).
