Ravioli Bolognese

In a large pot of Water (6 cups), add a pinch of Salt (to taste) and bring it to a boil.

Add Ravioli (1 bag) and cook according to package directions, for about 3-5 minutes. Drain and set aside.

While pasta is cooking, prepare the sauce. In a saucepan or skillet, heat Olive Oil (1 Tbsp) over medium-high heat. Once hot, add Ground Beef (1 lb), Onion (1/2), Carrot (1), and Garlic (1 clove). Cook until beef is browned; about 4-5 minutes.

Add Tomato Paste (1 Tbsp) and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Add Diced Tomatoes (1 can), tomato sauce, Mushroom (1 can), Italian Seasoning (1 tsp), and Milk (4 Tbsp). Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with Salt (to taste) and Ground Black Pepper (to taste).

Serve sauce over cooked ravioli with Fresh Basil Leaf (1 Tbsp) on top if desired.
