Sweet Dumplings
These delicious sweet dumplings are filled with sesame paste and eaten at the end of the Chinese Spring Festival.

Put Black Sesame Seeds (3/4 cup), cooked Peanuts (1/3 cup) and Granulated Sugar (1/3 cup) into a blender and blend until smooth.

Heat the Lard (3/4 cup) in a pan until it melts.

Add the melted pork lard into the sesame mixture and mix them evenly.

Put the sesame mixture into the refrigerator until it is cooled. Shape the sesame seed mixture into balls and set aside.

In a bowl, combine Water (to taste), Sweet Glutinous Rice Flour (1 2/3 cups) and Unsweetened Cocoa Powder (1 cup).

In another bowl combine Water (to taste) and the remaining Sweet Glutinous Rice Flour (1 2/3 cups).

Mix both bowls separately until combined. Knead the dough to form two rounds.

Knead the dough to form one round.

Knead to form another round.

Roll the dough into long cylinders, with alternating side by side.

Cut the dough into 1-inch thick pieces. Flatten each piece with your hand until it becomes thin enough to wrap around sesame seed ball.

Wrap each sesame seed ball with two-tone "wrapper" and set aside.

Put the dumplings into boiling water until they are done.
